Inspired Testing Brings Warmth and Hope to Stellenbosch Night Shelter for Mandela Day

Stellenbosch, 19 July 2024 – In a heartwarming initiative to mark Mandela Day during the month of July, the staff of Inspired Testing visited the Stellenbosch Night Shelter, bringing with them tinned food and soft, warm blankets to support the local homeless community. This act of kindness, reflects the spirit of Ubuntu, emphasizing the importance of compassion and humanity.

“It’s important to look after others when we are privileged enough to have everything we need,” says Réne de Wit, Head of Delivery Support at Inspired Testing. “Our team is committed to making a positive impact in our community, and Mandela Day provides a perfect opportunity to extend our support to those in need.”

Denise Paulse, Manager and Social Worker at the Stellenbosch Night Shelter, expressed her gratitude for the generous donations. “We are grateful for the support from Inspired Testing’s management and staff and deeply appreciate the donations of blankets and food. Such support helps the Shelter continue to provide essential services, not only immediate relief but also long-term solutions to homelessness through various programs and services,” she said.
